Angelica Maria Vale Hartman (also popularly referred to as Angelica Vale) is a Mexican American performer, actress, singer also known as a comedian, host of a radio show and a comic. She was born in Mexico City, and was raised by the comedian Raul Vale. In 1973, she was credited for the creation of the La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) musical genre which topped charts, making Angelica Maria the first Latin artist to have sold two million copies throughout the United States. She met Venezuelan comic and singer Raul Vale in 1974. They married in April of 1975, the first wedding to be broadcast in Mexico. Angelica Vale is a Mexican writer and actress born from Mexico City on 11 November 1975. She has been an actress as well as a writer on La fea mas bella (2005) and Lazos de amor (2000) and El Hogar que yo robe (1981). Otto Padron, her husband on 19 February 2011 has two kids.
